About Us
The Albury After Hours Clinic is a private appointment based clinic located in the Albury Base Hospital, that operates evenings and
weekends covering the urgent needs of patients. The Clinic is centrally located off East Street Albury with easy access from all areas
within Albury City boundaries. The Clinic is a joint State and Federal Government initiative, with funding for infrastructure from the NSW
Government and a 3-year operating funding from the Commonwealth Government Round the Clock Medicare Investing in After Hours GP Services (IAHGPS).
The Clinic is serviced and managed by local Albury GPs. The private facility gives the community access to a GP outside normal working hours
in a safe, hospital environment.
Our aim is simple
To provide consistent access and quality care for the Greater Albury community to after hours GP services while using the limited available GP
resource in the most efficient way possible.
Our knowledge is extensive
The Clinic will be staffed by experienced local GPs on rotation with one GP and one receptionist on duty. Protocols are in place to ensure
effective triage occurs and patients who cannot be treated at the Clinic are referred to the Emergency Department for urgent treatment, which
is located 50 metres from our location. If medication is advised for your condition, we can direct you to open pharmacies.
Continuity of Care
A copy of your consultation notes will be forwarded to your usual GP to ensure continuity of care.
Fees
Payment is required at the time of service and we accept cash, credit and debit cards.
